Before You Arrive

Please follow every rule

Entry and Invitations

  • No RSVP, no entrance.
  • No children.
  • The ceremony is private.
  • No plus-ones unless they are named on the invitation.
  • Security will enforce the guest list at the door.
  • If a guest arrives with an uninvited plus-one, both guests will be turned away.
  • Guests invited to the ceremony must be seated by the time listed on the invitation, or entry will not be allowed.

Seating and Reception

  • There will be assigned seats at the tables.
  • At a set time during the reception, an announcement will be made before the tide change. Guests who received a specific invitation to leave at that time are asked to do so respectfully.
  • If anyone upsets the bride, they will be asked to leave voluntarily or removed if needed.
  • Please keep speeches short.

RSVP Updates

  • If you RSVP and later cannot attend, send an email as soon as possible so adjustments can be made.
  • Ahead of time means at least one to two months before the wedding whenever possible.

Dress Code and Photos

  • Do not wear white.
  • No cameras during the ceremony.
  • Do not post reception photos until after the bride posts.

Gifts

  • Please use the registry or ship gifts instead of bringing them to the wedding.
